Charles Dicken’s already put it better than we ever could:
“At this festive season of the year, Mr. Scrooge,’ said the gentleman, taking up a pen, `it is more than usually desirable that we should make some slight provision for the Poor and Destitute, who suffer greatly at the present time. Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir.”
Right now, in America 1 in 5 people struggle with hunger. In America, which you may have heard about on “LifeStyles of the Rich and Famous: Nation Edition.” Okay, that’s not a thing, but you get the point; there is no reason for people in our own communities to be without food. And while we aren’t wealthy men, we do think we have a unique opportunity to play a role in fighting hunger. There was a brief discussion about recording a super group version of “Feed the World”, but then we decided to take a more direct route.
So here goes: Between now, and Dec 31st when you buy a digital copy of our new album “Wild Before Our Eyes”, we will donate the proceeds to Second Harvest Food Bank. We think that’s a pretty good deal.
If you have previously purchased the new EP you can still help us by sharing this post with your friends, a little viral nudge goes a long way.
